Honda Accord with G-Force Control technology

When it was first introduced as a 4-door sedan in 1976, the Honda Accord, equipped with technologies ahead of its time, was awarded ‘Car of the Year’ in countries like the United States of America and Australia. Its low emissions and fuel efficient capabilities set the benchmark for future models to respond to environmental challenges worldwide.

Now in its 8th generation, the balance of performance and fuel efficiency is further enhanced in the three variants available in Honda Malaysia – the 2.0 VTi and 2.0 VTi-L and the 2.4 VTi-L. The Honda Accord is a frugal machine thanks to the i-VTEC engines equipped to provide better fuel efficiency without compromising on its exhilarating performance.

As the driver, you will be very much inspired by the responsive and stable handling thanks to intuitive engineering that anticipates your driving behaviour. The Honda Accord is equipped with Shift Hold Control that works to keep your journey smooth regardless of whether you are climbing uphill, manoeuvring a corner or accelerating on straight roads.

The Honda Accord’s secure handling is matches by a sporty performance output from the i-VTEC engines which also boast one of the lowest emissions in their segment.

The Honda Accord has also proven to score high marks in its dynamic safety technologies, with the Euro New Car Assesment Programme (NCAP) awarding it 5-stars for its overall safety ratings after rigorous crash-test assessments. The vehicle is thoughtfully built with G-Force Control technology (G-CON) and Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) Body Structure, a combination of Honda’s advanced technologies that provide significantly enhanced protection in a variety of collision impact. The vehicle’s main frame is designed to prevent cabin deformation by dispersing the forces away from the passenger compartment.

For enhanced safety protection, the 2.0 VTi, 2.0VTi-L and 2.4 VTi-L is equipped with i-SRS front driver and passenger airbags. Other safety features help to keep the car stable with dynamic braking controls like the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA). Meanwhile, small parking spaces become instantly manageable with its rear 4-corner reverse sensors.

The Honda Accord’s wide opening doors allow passengers easy access into its stylish and spacious cabin, thanks to a lower floor and longer wheelbase that allows for more room. Once inside, the elegant dashboard and sophisticated controls will enhance your sense of personal space.

Exterior wise, the Honda Accord commands a road presence that is unmistakable with its muscular styling and flowing aerodynamic lines compared with earlier predecessors. If you are seeking a confident grip behind the wheels in a timeless sedan, this could be the ride that you will be proud to own for a long time.

No doubt that 2.2 i-DTEC is a punchy engine that motivates the coupe without effort, among all, what stroked me is its D-segment design, it is just awesome.
